Automobiles Testing

In the automotive industry, where safety, durability, and passenger comfort are non-negotiable, rigorous environmental simulation is the cornerstone of quality assurance. Sanwood delivers a complete suite of advanced test chambers designed to validate the performance and longevity of entire vehicles, powertrains, and every critical component—from electronics and sensors to interior trim and lighting. Our solutions simulate the planet’s harshest environments and the specific stresses of daily operation. We enable manufacturers to test against extreme temperature cycles, corrosive salt fog, driving rain, blowing dust, intense solar radiation, and combined temperature-vibration profiles. Our chambers are engineered to help you meet and exceed stringent global standards, including ISO 16750, IEC 60068, SAE J1455, MIL-STD-810, and OEM-specific specifications.

Vehicle environmental chambers are usually based on international and relevant national standards, as well as technical specifications of the automotive industry. These standards are designed to ensure the performance, safety and reliability of the vehicle under various extreme environmental conditions. However , the production and manufacturing of vehicle environmental chambers also need to comply with international standards and industry standards set by other international manufacturing associations ; of course, Sanwood can also customize the vehicle environmental test chamber that meets your requirements according to customer requirements .

Sanwood vehicle environmental test chamber is not only used to test the automotive materials, but also to test the performance of each component, assembly and module of the vehicle. Only by testing the performance of each component of the vehicle during operation can the excellent performance of the entire vehicle be guaranteed. Environmental tests are required for seat belts, electronic equipment, airbags, engines, lithium-ion batteries, etc. to ensure that they always operate safely under any conditions.

Vehicle environmental chamber testing is to ensure that the vehicle can meet the market's safety and performance requirements within its design life. The environmental test conditions for the vehicle include simulated environments such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, light, air pressure, rain and fog. Sanwood vehicle environmental chambers can simulate other environmental conditions that vehicles and automotive components are subject to:

  • Vibration: Simulate the vibration effects of product transportation and measure the stress impact of strong vibration on parts during these processes.
  • Temperature: It can be used to test the simulation of environmental change tests such as high temperature, low temperature, alternating humidity and heat, and constant humidity and heat from -70℃ to +180℃.
  • Humidity: It can simulate humidity in different temperature environments and can maintain 85% humidity for 1000 hours at a high temperature of +85°C.
  • Dust: Simulate extreme weather conditions such as sandstorms to test the vehicle 's protection performance, sealing performance, and internal structural stability.
  • Rain shower: Use the high-speed water flow generated by the high-pressure nozzle to transform the water mist into water droplets to test the vehicle's waterproof and weather resistance.
  • High Altitude: It can simulate high altitude environment or specific low pressure conditions to ensure that the equipment can test the vehicle performance under the predetermined low pressure.
  • Stability: The vehicle repeatedly undergoes high and low temperature cycles in the environmental test chamber to verify the stability of the vehicle's materials and electronic components.
  • Sunlight: The vehicle environmental test chamber can simulate sunlight to evaluate the aging and degradation of automotive materials in different temperature and humidity environments.
  • Emission test: simulates automobile exhaust emission environment test to detect whether the automobile exhaust emission meets the industry standards.
